Our fleet consists of entirely British built motor cars. From the moment you come into contact with us it will be British motor cars all the way (unless specified otherwise)
Our Motor Hearse is a 1986 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit that was hand built by Castleton Coachbuilders and is able to convey the largest of coffins or caskets and still leaves ample display area for floral tributes to be displayed in a traditional and dignified manner. Our company colour scheme is Mason’s Black over Oxford Blue with a gold coach line which takes away the edge of an all black cortege.
Our limousines are also Rolls- Royce by manufacture. Both can carry six passengers and are with you for the duration of the funeral and will take you back to your home or reception venue.
One is a 1993 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur Emperor State Limousine hand built by Hooper and Company for H.I.M. The Sultan of Brunei and is finished in our company colour scheme to match the motor hearse.
The other limousine is also of 1993 vintage and is a Rolls-Royce Silver Spur Touring Limousine hand built by H.J.Mulliner – Park Ward and all of our motor cars carry our trademark ‘regal’ number plates.
The limousines are able to carry fully collapsible wheelchairs and child seats but please check with us before the day of the funeral. Please note that our limousines are licensed and insured to carry six persons and this includes children.
Our limousines are unique in that should there be a large amount of floral tributes, these too can be carried in a dignified and traditional manner.
When bringing your loved one into our care we would like to point out that we DO NOT use ‘box vans’ or private ambulances like other companies as these are neither ‘private’ or ambulances. We prefer to use another British built estate car made by Jaguar, the X Type estate that carries ambulance style stretchers and has darkened privacy glass to afford your loved one every dignity and privacy.
Regardless of how busy we may be as a company we will ONLY ever convey one deceased at any one time to or from our premises.
We have a company policy that we will never take a funeral cortege onto a motorway unless there are road closures or problems with the desired route to or from the funeral and sanction will always be sought where possible with the family members in the cortege. A funeral travelling on a motorway only leads to further distress to those following and also to other road users.
Limousines are far easier to cancel than they are to book and we operate a 24 hour cancellation policy for limousines.
Horse drawn Funeral Cortege’s.
Paul Capper prides himself on having conducted many Hampshire Funeral Services with a wide variety of funeral vehicles. None more so than traditional horse drawn hearses and mourning carriages. These classic hearses evoke memories of a bygone age of traditionalism and dignity yet still widely used by many families today and as a tribute to your loved one can be summed up as all the birthdays and Christmases that you can never do again.
Whether you choose a black hearse with Belgium Black Friesian horses or a hearse of another colour such as white or pink, we can tailor the cortege to your themed instructions. You may feel that you wish to use a mourning carriage instead of a limousine? These too can be provided and advised on accordingly.
